When Ernst & Engbring GmbH was founded 70 years ago by engineer Heinrich Ernst, electrical engineer Herbert and businessman Manfred Engbring, it was producing silk enamelled wires and strands for the telephone industry. For special cables according to customer requirements, the company has been manufacturing only since 1992. Since then, the company has been constantly developing. The move to Industriestraße 9 in Oer-Erkenschwick in 1971 was the first milestone. The factory, at that time the most modern of its time with a production area of around 5000m², now covers 22000m² and is the headquarters of a further three, soon four, factories.
To celebrate this remarkable anniversary, the whole E&E Group came together from different locations. It was the highlight of the last year – a very nice evening, which is worth repeating.
